Let's find ways of working that value a wider number of voices and different people who can contribute to making change happen.
Let’s come together to listen and act on what really matters. Be angry and care about how our community is held back by judgement.
Let’s connect, share, learn, and distribute skills and resources with other communities to problem solve, address inequity, be creative and make things happen.

People feel isolated and like they can’t change how things are and don’t know how to meet people or get involved in their community.
There is trust and strong connections between lots of people and organisations in the area that we can build on.
This community has put up with a lot and we haven’t always found their voice or been listened to when it matters. We have experienced being ‘done to’ rather than being ‘done with’.
‘I don’t bother joining in nothing is ever going to change here’
Better solutions to problems will come from local voices, local knowledge and communities deep understanding of the place ensuring future development to meet the needs of local people now and in the future.
People have a lot happening in their lives and so are often not able to join in through traditional ways like meetings.
Community groups and organisations have to compete for resources. -
We accept that there are no quick fixes, this is long term step by step change that needs us all to work in different ways
We are able to say this community deserves more and it is not okay to stop at basic need and quick fixes.
We share, care, problem solve and find solutions together, working from a belief that a different more hopeful and abundant future is possible.
Everyone gives themselves permission to make positive change happen - big and small it’s all important.
We all start from a position of love and desire for a more equitable, hopeful and resilient future.
We join dots - connecting people, organisations, ideas and opportunities within and outside the area to make things happen for people and the place.
